Scams

Scammers impersonating ATO personnel have unfortunately become more and more common. There are several different scams from phone calls to emails. Never give your personal information out via email or over the phone, especially your bank details or Tax File Number (TFN). If you have a registered Tax Agent they should be the first port of call for the ATO. If you are unsure of who is contacting you contact your Tax agent or the ATO immediately.
